Women at the top via a website or app?

Look, that women at the top is an issue (not that they are at the top, but that they are not at the top, you understand me), that is well known. And that very little has changed in recent years, that is now also clear. So Bussemaker has a plan!

Women at the top with Bussemaker

An insane plan you might say! Namely a website that 'exposes' which top functions will be released in the near future 😉 . Like this. Done.

Or not? Where does it come from that women are so difficult to manifest themselves? It seems to me that the glass ceiling alone cannot be the problem, can it? In any case, by exposing the declining positions, Bussemaker wants to make women who are looking for a place at the top actually women at the top. By giving them the opportunity to at least see what positions will become available so that they can respond in good time.

It still seems that the real top positions pass from hand to hand even before it is publicly known that that position was indeed released. Old boys currant bread so to speak. Or know us. Or men among themselves. Just whatever name you want to put on it. In any case, it seems that no ordinary application procedures apply to these positions.

By the way, I am the last person to say that women should be at the top, no mather what. Because capacities, qualities and so on are still number one as far as I'm concerned. You only 'put' someone in a position if he or she has the qualities for it and not because it is a man or woman. But apart from that, it has been shown that more feminine beauty generally has a positive effect on company results. The 'Feminine Touch' remains an important addition.

Hence navigating the website to the top with which the ambitious tigers among us can at least see where they can go. Do they have to be a bit flexible when it comes to the internet and websites… because the website itself is still an outright drama… but hey… it's for a good cause 😉 .

Have you ever been in a job application where you thought you had less chance because you were a woman?
