How to prevent emails from being forwarded in Gmail

One of the newest features in Gmail is the ability to prevent recipients from forwarding emails by turning on Confidential Mode. Here's how to do that:

1. Opens a compose window in Gmail..
2. Click Confidential mode button.
3. In the window that opens, you can choose an expiration date for the email. If you're not worried about the email remaining in your inbox, you can set the expiration date to a maximum of five years. No expiration date is not an option.
4. You can also enter an optional access code to ask them to open the email.
5. Click Save .
6. You should see a message at the bottom of the email indicating that you are sending a confidential email.
7. You can make changes to these settings before submitting by clicking Edit or remove confidential mode by clicking the X .

In addition to not being able to forward your message, recipients will also not be able to copy, paste, download, or print your message.
