Once you've entered your numbers, make sure Excel identifies those cells as currencies. Select your cells, and in the Number section on the Home tab, select Currency from the dropdown menu.
All your numbers will now be labeled with the default currency, in my case dollars. Select the cells that include the currency you want to change. Right click the cells and click Format Cells .
A popup will open on the Number tab, and the currency should already be selected. Select your currency from the Symbol Dropdown menu. (You can also change the standard two decimal places if you really want to.)
Now you should be able to see different currency symbols on the same excel sheet:
