Get a jump on your productivity

The My Workspace The tool is a tool that sits in the system tray on your Mac and pulls down to reveal recent events that are part of the Office suite.

For example, see a list of the recent files you're working on, the latest calendar events and appointments, and the ability to quickly accept or reject them.

The toolbar is a snapshot of your day ahead. Take a look at the video above and see if the aerial view is helpful in understanding the tasks you need to tackle in the immediate future.

These are some of the interactive features you should be aware of:

  • Launch Office files from OneDrive or paint them to make them accessible.
  • Collaborate on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook documents with one-click link sharing.
  • Start a Skype call and complete the scheduled meeting on the calendar.
  • One-click RSVP to events that are set up in the calendar.

For me, the best feature is the nice timeline at the top that shows the blocks of time I have throughout the day. One glance tells me how my day will flow and where I have a few free blocks of time or a burst of focused activity.

A Microsoft toolbar worth your time

Of course, this view will depend entirely on how you assign tasks to your calendar.

The free toolbar is a Microsoft Garage project. But it looks polished and polished to take a permanent place in your macOS Sierra. Try it!
